We are currently seeking a driven and ambitious Associate Systems Engineer that contributes to Get the Technical Win in the sales cycle (presales), by providing technical knowledge in a convincing manner to ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need. You will join a presales team that focuses on full Data Center solutions across areas such as Storage, Virtualization, Data Protection and Cloud for Acquisition accounts.
This is a hybrid Inside Sales Systems Engineering role based in Madrid with regular client visits in Spain & Portugal (under normal, non-COVID circumstances). You work closely with hybrid Inside Sales Account Managers and manage internal as well as external stakeholders, so strong communication and interpersonal skills is key. The position reports to the NextGen Presales Manager based in Paris, France
**You will:**
Directly engage on customer opportunities to position the technical value of the Dell EMC solution leveraging all the tools and capabilities available
Advise Sales Reps in all technical pre-sales support functions, providing technical advice and align focus with Partners on the best solutions. Provide pre-sales support to Sales Reps on customer conference calls and client visits at various stages of the sales cycle. Develop and respond to RFPs as requested from aligned Partners and Sales Reps
Provide demos of Dell EMC products through WebEx and/or similar on-line tools
Prepare detailed topologies and architectures of customer site, before and after proposed new solutions
Provide competitive support and effectively deal with objection handling situations

**Essential Requirements**
Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical discipline
Experience in a technical IT role, e.g. as network or systems administrator, and understanding of storage (SAN and/or NAS), Backup and Recovery and Virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V). Information Storage and Management ISMv4 certification.
Experience in a customer facing role with solid communication and presentation skills in both English and Spanish
Proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented attitude. Initiates and takes action. Driven and curious to learn
Spanish Native mandatory and very high English level
**Desirable Requirements**
Dell EMC Proven Professional Certification
Knowledge of Dell EMC products such as Unity, PMAX, Isilon, Avamar and Data Domain
