Do you want to work on beautiful Lake LBJ?  We have full-time and part-time seasonal positions open now!JOB SUMMARY:The Marina Concierge is mainly responsible for the reception area and marina ship store at Horseshoe Bay Resort Marina as well as all the Marina Hut. To greet, accommodate and facilitate a high Horseshoe Bay Resort standard guest check-in and check-out of the marina by providing friendly, efficient and accurate service. To maximize water craft bookings and maximize retail sales while creating and accommodating the guests’ lake experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:nHandle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.nProperly open and close marina ship store and marina hut areas each day with consistency and proficiency according to Standard Operating Procedures.nAccommodate guest’s needs by accurately booking, changing and canceling marina appointments.nAccommodate guest reservation requests, offering many options and providing up-selling and cross- selling options to guests.nProvide current and detailed descriptions of marina services; know current clinic & camp schedules, current packages, facility features and hours of operation.nMaintain organization and cleanliness of the lobby, retail area and all other marina ship store and marina hut areas, including candy store and arcade.nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:nCustomer service experience required.nFood Handlers certificate required.nMinimum age requirement 16 yrs.nBasic math and accounting skillsnExcellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills required.nComputer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, related inventory softwarenADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:nService oriented- able to pamper, accommodate and anticipate guests needsnEnjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.nSolution orientednExceptional communication, organizational skills and detail orientednFlexible and accommodating attitudenMaintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environmentnComply and adhere to all Horseshoe Bay Resort and marina policies and standard operating procedures (SOP’s)nMaintain a professional image with the proper uniform standard and maintaining personal hygienenPhysical & Mental Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.nMaintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized work area.nBe on time for your shift and maintain schedule providednPositive, energetic and professional demeanornAbility to multi-task.nAbility to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.nWalk/stand for an extended period of timenOccasionally lift and/or move up to 15-20 pounds.nAscend/descend stairs as a daily routine.nMust be able to comprehend reading materials.nMust be able to interact with co-workers, customers and have a sense of TEAMnEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
