Responsibilities
The Senior Consumer Service Operations Professional exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. The work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues. Analyzing data, determining root cause, influence others to develop improvements to the process. Collaborate with external partners and teams to resolve discrepancies with claims payment errors. May influence department's strategies. May require technical approach to determine variable factors when researching issues. Use technical approach for projects, perform with minimal direction. May be assigned from time to time other work to assist other teams. Committed to being a team player. Influence others to improve processes.
Required Qualifications
Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.
Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)
Technical experience in Microsoft suite of applications. (Excel, Access, Word )
4 - 8 years of experience working with TRICARE, with a focus on claims
Basic knowledge of SQL (to include where statements, back up databases and join 2 tables together)
Experience working with customer service
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office, to ensure you have absolute and continuous privacy while you work.
Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
4 years' customer service
5 years of SQL experience
5 years process improvement experience
2 years of translating business rules into system rules
Proficient in Tricare operations and claims reimbursement
