Customer Service Representative - Radiology 1.0 Days

**Providence is calling a Customer Service Representative (Imaging Admin, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. **In this position you will:**
RECEPTION: Responsible for greeting, scanning consents and release forms, consenting and ordering exams, and all out patients seen in the Radiology department
SCHEDULING: Responsible for Scheduling of patient exams, coordination of instructions and preps utilizing the Epic central schedule system. Includes Ultrasound, CAT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, MRI and Radiology. Coordination of all orders
ELECTRONIC RECORD MANAGEMENT: Responsible for distribution of medical reports to appropriate areas and burning CDs for medical/legal issues. Digitizing of films, burning CDs for patients, physicians and OR and the uploading of outside records. Responsible for tracking all contract films, recording, collating reports and films. Maintain patient electronic file by recording all check outs of CDs in film management function in Epic
COMMUNICATION: Must be able to accurately communicate information to and from other employees, departments and patients, including clinical information. Responsible for all incoming calls, transfers and messages. Uses text paging when appropriate with other areas
Must be familiar with application of HIPPA laws. Working knowledge of PACS System, and burning of CDs. Competent in all areas of researching patient information on system
Must be familiar with computers and all programs applicable to Radiology Department
Complete initial and annual Competency Plan for assigned job and department
