Job Summary
The mission of the Solution Architect is to create compelling custom advanced solutions focused on intelligent networking and advanced security technologies. Advanced solutions are multi-layer and include Network/Security Architecture, SD-WAN, Unified Threat Management (UTM), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Managed Detection & Response (MDR), DDoS Mitigation Services, Unified Communications, Wireless LAN, and other emerging technologies. The role is focused on developing high value solutions, deal strategy, and driving revenue growth for Comcast Business. Working closely and partnering with our account teams, product teams, and operations to deliver a great customer experience and enable strategic solution sales. Responsible for meeting with customers, understanding their business model, the role technology currently plays in their network, developing advanced solutions to address their business and technology needs, and work with the larger team to win the customer's confidence, trust, and ultimately their business. Working closely with Sales leaders, upskill our sales and SE teams with new technologies, and increasing our overall participation and win rates. Leads the collection of technical detail in support of the provisioning and activation of the service. Provides mentoring and guidance to one or more junior team members. May be responsible for leading a team but does not directly manage people.

Core Responsibilities
Pre-sales solutions activities supporting our customers and internal partners to drive business growth through designing value-driven solutions, supporting our account teams, becoming trusted advisors internally and with our customers, and execution excellence throughout the sales cycle and beyond
Consult with qualified customers to address customer challenges & goals around advanced solutions: SD-WAN, UTM, EDR, MDR, DDoS Mitigation, UC, WLAN, and other technologies.
Strategic value selling focusing on client outcomes and winning the business.
Design strategic and value driven solutions across our continuously expanding advanced solutions portfolio.
Develop and document high quality solution architecture for customers
Set expectations on information required from customer (configuration)
Set expectations on configuration changes customer may have to make as part of install (eg, IP addressing, URL filtering policies, etc.)
Obtain customer network and security details needed to configure and provision services
Develop customer test plan to successfully implement services
Support Test and Turn-up activities as Comcast's technical POC for the customer
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. The role requires periodic work on nights and weekends to support activities such as presales activities and consulting during operational maintenance windows. Requires flexibility to work around a variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Preferred Requirements:
CCDP, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP
Palo Alto, Versa, Fortinet certifications
Networking WAN/LAN, Routing, Security, SDWAN, UTM, EDR, MDR
Education Level:
Bachelor's degree or Equivalent
Field of Study:
Computer and Information Science, Technology, Cybersecurity, or similar
Years of Experience:
10 years of relevant work experience
