We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist I that is a remote opportunity. This position will support Aon’s Affinity Insurance Services group in the Healthcare department.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle inbound and outbound calls via 800 lines with multi-product portfolio- Professional Liability productsRespond to customer communications via email and written correspondenceMaintain service, quality and timeliness standardsInteract with other departments on various projects including new programs, products and technologySupport knowledge management transfer within the department through training, quality and intranet projectsEvaluate individual customers’ needs and propose additional insurance products based on personal and business needsMaintains customer records by updating account or policy informationReconcile client payments against the policy administration systemREQUIRED SKILLS:Possess an active Property & Casualty license is required. Candidates will not be considered if they do not have a P&C license.Experience with Professional Liability insurance for healthcare professionalsDemonstrated skills and abilities to be goal oriented and solve complex issuesPossess excellent inerpersonal and verbal communication skillsStrong multi-taskerExperience with CRM- Customer Relationship Management System preferredPossess excellent written communication skills for customer correspondence, be able to speak broadly and question customer’s needsAbility to provide excellent quality service to customersDemonstrated ability in handling details and key follow up capabilityStrong PC skills with solid knowledge based in Word, Excel and PowerPoint softwareAbility to identify process efficiencies and handle daily activities in a thorough and accurate fashionAbility to work independently and as a team memberAbility to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clientsDemonstrated relationship-building skills evaluating individual insurance needs and offering appropriate products/solutionsMINIMUM EDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or commensurate work experienceMINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:1-3 years’ experience in customer service/call center/sales and service supporting multiple insurance products and/or financial services products.The salary range for this position is $35,000-$45,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
