Description
The Consumer Service Operations Representative 2 is responsible for the daily activities across multiple service functions area. The Consumer Service Operations Representative 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Consumer Service Operations Representative 2 may perform installation, implementation, client support, client services, client administration, customer service, enrollment and eligibility, claims processing, and call center operations.
Investigates and settles claims and customer service issues.
Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
Candidates will need to be able to work an eight hour schedule between 9am and 6pm central time Monday through Friday and 7 weeks from 7:30-4pm central time- Virtual training.
3 years of customer service experience, including typing/data entry in a professional setting
Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
Aptitude for quickly learning and navigating new technology, systems and applications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and Word
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Work at Home Requirements: Must have a room in your home designated as a home office; away from high traffic areas where confidential information may be secured. Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.
Excellent critical thinking, decision making and trouble shooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
Previous healthcare experience
Previous inbound and/or outbound call center experience
Previous banking experience, or employee benefits experience
